Greek fish in the oven

Recipe for Greek fish with eggs, tomatoes, herbs and onions in the oven.

Compound:

  • 0.5 kg red oily fish fillet
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup greens (dill, parsley)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 150 grams hard cheese
  • 100 grams of mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste

Cooking:

  1. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
  2. Cut the red fish fillet into 6 portions. Salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  4. Wash the tomatoes and cut into half circles.
  5. Boil eggs, peel and cut into circles.
  6. Cheese grate on a coarse grater.
  7. Peel the garlic and grate on a fine grater.
  8. Wash and chop greens.
  9. Prepare the sauce. To do this, mix mayonnaise, garlic and half the greens in a bowl.
  10. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and lay out the pieces of fish.
  11. Lay the egg on top of the fish.
  12. Tomatoes for an egg.
  13. Spread the sauce over the tomatoes.
  14. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  15. Put the fish in the oven to cook for 30 minutes.
  16. Serve as a separate dish or with a side dish.
