Pickled cucumbers under the lid for the winter

Compound:

  • Pickle cucumbers for as long as you want
  • For marinade per 1 liter of water:
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 50 grams of salt
  • 2 tablespoons 9% vinegar
  • In a jar before laying cucumbers per 1 liter:
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 black or allspice peas
  • 1 sprig of dill
  • 1 sheet of horseradish optional

Cooking:

  1. Sterilize jars.
  2. Put in each pepper, garlic and dill.
  3. Rinse the cucumbers well and cut off the tips on both sides.
  4. Pack cucumbers tightly into jars.
  5. Pour boiling water over each jar of cucumbers and leave for 10 minutes.
  6. Prepare brine. Boil water and add sugar, salt and vinegar.
  7. Pour boiling water from the jars and pour the prepared brine over the cucumbers.
  8. Banks roll up, turn upside down and cover with a blanket.
  9. After a day, remove the jars in the cellar or store at home at room temperature.

  1. Traditional preparation for the winter. There was one at work. A colleague brought a jar of pickled cucumbers from home. He says they have done a lot, we are afraid to spoil, so he decided to treat everyone at work. They opened a jar at lunchtime, and the cucumbers tasted as if lightly salted. Everyone started asking for the recipe. He says I don't know. I called my wife and she didn't know either. I cooked everything according to the usual recipe.
