Homemade halva

Compound:
  • 2 cups peeled seeds
  • 1 cup flour
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cups of water
  • 1 glass of granulated sugar

Cooking:

  1. Rinse the seeds well and fry in a pan without adding oil. Scroll the roasted seeds in a meat grinder.
  2. Fry the flour in a dry frying pan until creamy.
  3. Mix seeds and flour.
  4. Make syrup from sugar and water. The syrup should be of medium consistency, neither thick nor runny.
  5. Put all the ingredients in a bowl: vegetable oil, seeds with flour and then syrup. Beat everything with a mixer until smooth.
  6. Line the form with parchment or cellophane.
  7. Put the finished mass into a mold, level with a spoon, cover with a circle or a smaller lid. Put a weight on top.
  8. We leave for a few hours. Maybe overnight.
  9. We put the halva on a plate and cut into pieces. Bon appetit!
