Belarusian potato pancakes

Recipe for Belarusian potato pancakes with photo.

Compound:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • salt to taste
  • vegetable oil for frying

Cooking:

  1. Peel potatoes and onions and rub on a fine grater. You can scroll everything together in a meat grinder.
  2. Allow excess liquid to drain.
  3. Whisk in the eggs and mix.
  4. Heat up a frying pan and pour vegetable oil.
  5. Add flour to the dough, salt, mix quickly and immediately start frying. Do not leave the dough.
  6. Fry potato pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
  7. Serve with sour cream.
  8. Chopped greens can be added to the dough if desired.
